Great light, easy to install

For the price of this light, I had low expectations. The light works great, the instructions were excellent, and everything I needed was provided in the box. This far exceeded anything I could have hoped for, and the light looks great.

Real metal and glass... no plastic

This light is metal base, plenty of insulation for you incandescent bulb users, and a glass globe. It's well-made and fits together easily and perfectly. I had no problems whatsoever installing 5 of them to be used with CFL 13-watt lamps. They are relatively light weight in spite of the metal and glass. Very nice looking. My application uses 5 of these over and in front of the overhead kitchen cabinets (thus the need for the squashed mushroom shape), each with a small bulb to add more light to the kitchen countertops and at the same time improve the lighting inside the cabinets when opened. I also used a motion detector switch that turns them on when someone approaches the counters, and then off again in about 10 seconds when they walk away. I am very pleased with the look and function of this installation.
